Summer Lovin'

With the hot sun blazing, Moments is reminiscing over the fabulous weddings we were a part of last summer.  


Tamara & Conrado's Gimli wedding was a perfect example of how to host a nearby destination event here in our beautiful province.  Joel Ross did an incredible job of capturing the blue-sky scenery, making the photos appear as if they were taken on an exotic beach somewhere far away.

Here's to the start of another great summer to come!

New Office & New Items

Hey Everyone...  I am very happy to share with you all that as of today Moments Wedding & Event Planning has a new location starting on June 1st 2010!!! 

We are super excited about our new place. We have some wonderful ideas from the paint colors to decor.  It will be fantastic to up pack the boxes, awww to be organized again!

As well Moments has some new rental items-Vintage is the style and Retro accents are very much apart of weddings this season! 

May we suggest adding one of these cute carts to your evening buffet-luncheon!

The Cotton Candy comes in a variety of colors to match your decor!

Moments Monthly - May 1, 2010 - Lovely Lemon

Moments cannot get enough of this month’s bright and cheery lemon palette.  This citrus colour is a great option for youthful, energetic, and relaxed couples looking to ignite spirit into their big day. 

INSPIRATION

This month, our inspiration board is all about the citrus colour - YELLOW.

TREAT YOURSELF
For a yummy spring cocktail, treat yourself to this delicious Spiked Lemonade Recipe featured in Coastal Living. 

Ingredients

2  cups  lemon-flavored sparkling water or club soda, chilled

1/2  cup  citrus-flavored vodka, chilled

1/2  cup  fresh lemon juice

1/4  cup  sugar

1/4  cup  orange liqueur

Crushed ice

Lemon slices for garnish

Maraschino Cherry for garnish

Preparation

Combine first 5 ingredients in a large pitcher. Serve over crushed ice. Garnish each serving with a lemon slice and cherry, if desired.
